Department of Land evaluation

With major responsibilities in:

To determine standard procedures in land evaluation for the purposes of agricultural usage and as a natural resource with regard to soil characteristics, natural and climatic conditions, economic and social contexts and to prepare the related publications.

To assort the standard methods and procedures for technical and engineering studies of the soil.

To study national and regional maps of different scales on land use and potential and to prepare such by using research data in soils, agricultural activities, climatic changes and variations, natural factors, plant cover, economic and social conditions and other related influences in cooperation with state agricultural research centers.

Cooperation and coordinating activities with the rest of the Institute in the areas of interest.
