Following the holding of the 14th Specialized Exhibition of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Afghanistan, with a focus on the agricultural sector, three volumes of FAO´s books were presented at this exhibition, which were translated into Persian and published by researchers at the Soil and Water Research Institute (SWRI). Therefore, the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Tehran thanked the Agricultural Research, Education and Extension Organization for this cooperation by awarding a plaque of appreciation.
According to the Public Relations of the Soil and Water Research Institute of the Ministry Agriculture-Jahad, following the holding of the 14th Specialized Exhibition of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Afghanistan with a focus on the agricultural sector in February 2021 in Kabul and the support of the Agricultural Research, Education and Extension Organization, three volumes of FAO´s books  entitled: "Voluntary Guidelines for Sustainable Soil Management", "Soil Pollution: A Hidden Reality" and "Farmer´s Compost Handbook, Experiences in Latin America" translated into Persian and published by researchers at the Soil and Water Research Institute and were presented at the exhibition for use in the agricultural sector of Afghanistan by Agricultural research, education and extension. Therefore, the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Tehran thanked the Agricultural Research, Education and Extension Organization for this cooperation by awarding a plaque of appreciation.
In addition, it is worth mentioning that, in line with scientific communication and international cooperation, thirty copies of each volume of the mentioned books was handed over to its embassy of the Tajikistan in Tehran, through the Academic Relations & International Affairs of the Agricultural Research, Education and Extension Organization for use in the Ministry of Agriculture Tajikistan.
